For Pnoy

It's Chet Atkins playing the hilarious Yakety Axe. I am fond of guitar solo pieces. When not in the mood to draw, I am strumming my guitar. Ok, struggling to play well. Anyways, this post is heartily and lovingly dedicated to our very own Pres. Pnoy who has suffered a blow on his recent ratings in surveys. Pnoy enjoyed popular support during the elections. But recent surveys showed him lagging behind vp Jejomar Binay's rating. Analysts blamed Pnoy's handling or mishandling of various concerns.

Anyways, enjoy the ride with a galloping horse...downward...with this music as the background...

Local Version - Pabaon Issue

Davao City is recently torn between to lovers - those who want to address the possible power shortage via coal-fired power plant and those who don't believe that this coal has the latest technology that is environmentally and health-friendly. As the debate heated up, the proponent Aboitiz Power Corporation invited the councilors here to see how their coal plant in Misamis Oriental fared. All-expense paid and perhaps, the send-off gift was part of this commitment from the proponent. As to whether the councilors will be investigated, Rodolfo Elman, assistant Ombudsman for Mindanao, as quoted by Sun-Star Davao, said: "In reality, they (councilors) are still not to be considered as respondents."

Whether an investigation by the Ombudsman will prosper or not, the controversy has tarnished the image of the councilors and their judgment over the on-going debate of coal plant.
