Unemployment Problem

The number of repatriated OFWs is obviously adding pressure to the unemployment problem the country is facing in addition to the impact that the middle east crisis will have on the remittance-dependent economy of the Philippines. Our government officials should be now spending sleepless nights. Joke.

But the political developments that started in Egypt are issues that should move the government to undertake a comprehensive preparation more especially that the region where there are OFWs is facing unrest due to political movements. There are over half million Filipino workers in the middle east who stand to be affected if political situation should worsen there.

BTW, the cartoon was another repartee on Edsa celebration.
