On Hidden Numbers in My Cartoons

To Teri James Relator: Contrary to what most last two bettors in the region believe, my daily editorial cartoons don't bear numbers (overtly or covertly or subliminally drawn). if some of those who peeped through the cross-hatch lines were able to find "numbers" in them, those were products of their own "analysis" or pure imagination - not mine for in the first place i don't indulge myself in any kind legal or illegal number games (sweeptakes, lotto, last two, jueteng, sakla, baraha, masiao, sabong, tong-its, etc.). Gag Order on Media

The media sector cried foul when about 30 media people/journalists covering the Manila Peninsula Hotel siege by the Magdalo Group were arrested during the aftermath of the drama last November 29, 2007. It did not stop there since the arrest, analyzed as violating the rights of the media, was dovetailed with government's pronouncements favoring or stiffling down the rights of the press to cover similar incidents.

Mayor Duterte's Resignation from RPOC

The Regional XI Peace and Order Council was the offshoot of the Executive Order No. 309 that created the Peace and Order Councils. POC was tasked to, among other things, “implement and execute national policies, plans and programs on peace and order. For Southern Mindanao or Region XI, Mayor Rody Duterte was appointed as its chair. But 12 years later, Duterte resigned from RPOC recently resigned because of, according to some analyses, political intrigues.
